Founded in 1973 by David Thomas Robinson, Kaiser Road Associates, later named The Management Works, has always focused on acquiring, developing, and managing commercial multi-family properties in Southern California.
The company began with David’s first purchase of a 20-unit community in Costa Mesa and has since blossomed into a multi-property management company consisting of both residential and commercial assets. The exceptional growth is attributed to David’s son, David “Chip” Robinson, who took over operations after his father’s passing. Chip rebranded the company “The Management Works” in 2007 and adopted the guiding principle of “Improving the way our residents live.” Chip advises the Costa Mesa/Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce, is a licensed California principle broker, and is involved with several associations including IREM, AAOC, CSSA, and the Fair Housing Foundation.
